Superb customer service - we appreciated being able to check in early. The room was excellent and the breakfast was full and reasonalbly priced. The hotel’s location was also excellent.

Rooms are rather small and the open shower is rather annoying as it splashes water all over the floor when taking a shower!

Comfortable, clean room and an excellent breakfast, at a reasonable price. Less that 10 scores only because of (1) I was cold in the evenings in the room and unable to raise the the temperature: turning the thermostat dial and fan settings did not make a difference; (2) a sulphurous smell in the bathroom on the first morning, not sure whether from the water or the air conditioning.

Great location, friendly staff & clean accommodation. Only drawbacks, no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms and the windows could have had some form of net curtains as we were overlooking garden area for privacy.
Despite a good reception, the rooms are small, noisy (you can ear the other rooms), and not practical when it comes to light gestion. Also, nothing is planned for travelers with cars, and the city doesn't like visitors, they can't park anywhere except paying 25€ the night...
It would have been better if there were a hot water maker to have some tea in the room and more amenities like tooth brush and tooth paste.
Very well located in the center of the city, though in a very quiet area. The interiors are very well decorated and very pleasant, not trivial. The room lacks of a small fridge, a coffe/tea facility, and the bathroom is extremely small (and without a window!)

Fantastic hotel in a very central location. Close to several coffee shops, restaurants and the famous Kloosterstraat with its antique stores. A definite bonus was that dogs are allowed to stay in the hotel for a small 15€/night fee. The staff were very friendly, the rooms cozy and clean.

My hotel room 410 had a sewage piping problem which I indicated the smell was horrible. I indicated this to the receptionist but the next day it persisted so nothing was done.
Lovely new hotel, small but comfortable room, nice bar area, good breakfast, great location.
New, well equipped hotel with a good vibe. Only disadvantage, 4th floor window on the outside of the 2nd building, could not be opened

We had a great stay in Motel One
This was our first stay at a Motel One and we all loved it! The Antwerpen Oever hotel is modern, spacious and looks great. The staff were all very friendly and helpful; we are already planning our next visit to this hotel.
I really enjoyed my stau at Motel One. The location was very good close to the city center and to all the tourist attractions. The room was spacious, and I enjoyed particularly the tasty and variate breakfast.
Very good hotel in a toplocation With and amazing bar . In the future I’m sure the bar will be populair also for local people. I only missed a real Whisky sour with egg. But all over its a good selection that you offer so far already . We are coming back soon
It was all good except the fact that when something goes wrong with check in there is not a manager around to solve the problem.

An excellent value for money hotel. Modern, with great decor throughout the hotel itself, and very comfortable bed/room. Will definitely stay in this chain of hotels again
Location is perfect for a short stay in Antwerp; the hotel is very new, staff is very friendly and helpful; the only negative issue is the smell in the bathroom, as the sink in the bathroom smells quite strong, especially during the day (old pipes?!); price for one person should be lower (almost the same as for two persons)
The location, room comfort, and breakfast were great. My room was very cold, and we couldn’t get it warmer, even though I asked for help from the front desk – this could be improved.

Perfect location and nice atmosphere
The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The infrastructure and decoration are beautifully done. However, despite informing the reception multiple times that our family (5 rooms) would arrive very late due to a wedding, we were unable to secure an early check-in. When we arrived at 4 AM, our rooms were marked as "no shows," and we had to go through the entire booking process again. This was frustrating, especially since we had communicated our late arrival in advance.
I am a new fan of Motel One - my experience in Antwerp was exceptional and has earned new loyalty from me! I will look for Motel One in every city from now on.
Minor tweaking needed. Easy to go to an 10/10 rating for future visits. I would expect from a 3 star hotel to receive a water in the room, at least on arrival, if not daily. It was also disappointing not have coffee/tea and kettle in room. All my previous hotels offered the above, you would expect it as a given for 3 star hotel. I booked a room with an extra-large double bed, since I toss and turn a-lot when I sleep. When I went to bed I discovered my bed had to single duvet covers on, which was very strange. Floor gets wet when you shower. Brand new hotel, was surprised to find that my aircon didn’t work. Had to open the window during the night to let cool air in. Barman: I enjoyed my visit in the bar area. He made a great espresso martini. I ordered a martini, waffle and a sandwich. His comment was he will see if he has time to make the sandwich. I was surprised by comment, bar area was 70% full and they had a snack mane at every table. Why advertise something if it will be a convenience. Breakfast area: trying to fit in to many small tables. Every time someone gets up to get something from the delicious spread, their bum braces past your food while eating since the space between tables were very small and had to turn sideways to get through. Despite the above, still a great hotel to stay at. Just minor tweaking that needs to be done. Great location in the fashion district and close to tourist attractions. Reception staff kind and helpful. Lounge/chill area is great and very chic. Definitely make use of this area and spend time here having a drink. Breakfast was delicious and manager on duty was very friendly and helpful. Very nice looking hotel.

Perfect place to stay for our city break. Very helpful staff. The safe in block 2 room 401 is very difficult to use and resulted in me having difficulty getting my passport out when wanting to leave. Reception staff were very quick to sort. The room is better suited to single occupancy with only one bedside table and light. And in fairness I think the room was intended for my daughter who ended up in 303. Bar staff also very friendly

All in all a very pleasant stay. Modern, nice, as always in a Motel One. There’s always style and quality. The only downers are - the seating situation at breakfast, there are always not enough standard chairs available and having breakfast on a lounge sofa is often humiliating - parking was great but one thing that Antwerpen (and apparently whole Belgium) is missing is EV-Charging, having chargers in the parking lot would have made a very big impact for us

No obstante, lo más especial de la ciudad es su espíritu creativo. La imagen de Amberes no solo se caracteriza por su impresionante historia del arte o su mundialmente famoso barrio de los diamantes, sino también por la moda. La verdad es que, si le gusta la moda, no querrá irse de la ciudad. Desde sus inicios, el puerto fue un lugar importante para el comercio textil, por lo que Amberes ha tenido una gran influencia en las tendencias a lo largo de los años. Es precisamente por este motivo que el interior de nuestro Motel One está inspirado en el universo de la moda.
Hotel de diseño y moda
Ya desde la entrada del hotel se nota que todo gira en torno a la moda. La recepción está decorada con alfombras tejidas a mano, diseñadas por un antiguo aprendiz de Dries van Noten, un diseñador de moda belga. En el bar del hotel, el clásico patrón de cuadros cobra vida y brilla con todo su esplendor. El diseño del hotel de Amberes ha sido pensado cuidadosamente y, como en todos nuestros hoteles, refleja un gran amor por los detalles. Pero el hotel ofrece mucho más que una decoración relacionada con el mundo de la moda: cuenta con conexión wifi gratuita, recepción 24 horas, smart TV en las habitaciones, servicio de alquiler de planchas y tabla en la recepción y plazas de aparcamiento limitadas para que los huéspedes puedan llegar en coche tranquilamente. También servimos un desayuno delicioso con especialidades locales y, como es un hotel familiar, los peques menores de 6 años desayunan gratis. Para descansar bien por la noche, nuestro hotel de diseño de Amberes cuenta con almohadas y edredones antialérgicos bajo petición. También podrá guardar su equipaje en el hotel de forma gratuita. Así podrá dar un paseo tranquilamente por el centro de la ciudad antes del check-in o después del check-out sin tener que cargar con sus cosas.
La ubicación del hotel en Amberes
Y hablando del centro de la ciudad: el hotel está situado justo a las afueras del barrio de la moda, hogar de numerosos diseñadores, tiendas de moda sostenible y tiendas conceptuales. También podrá llegar a pie al MoMu, el Museo de la Moda, así como a la famosa calle Kloosterstraat, lugar de encuentro de muchos diseñadores jóvenes conocidos.
El hotel destaca por su excelente ubicación en pleno centro de la ciudad, ya que los lugares de interés turístico más famosos están a poca distancia.
Un lugar imprescindible de ver es la zona del puerto, ya que es realmente impresionante. Le recomendamos que se pase por Groenplaats, una animada plaza de Amberes cerca de la Catedral de Nuestra Señora. ¡Es el lugar perfecto para hacer buenas fotos! El barrio de los diamantes también está a unos 20 minutos a pie, a la vuelta de la esquina del impresionante edificio de la estación central. ¿Sabía que esta estación ha sido galardonada por ser una de las más bonitas del mundo? Por otro lado, si está hasta el moño de oír hablar de edificios históricos y diamantes, vaya a ver el Zoológico de Amberes o el Museo Chocolate Nation, que están justo al lado de la estación de trenes. ¡Ojo con el chocolate! Y es que este es el museo del chocolate belga más grande del mundo. Tendrá antojo de dulce en cuanto entre por la puerta.
Comer y beber en Amberes
¿Le ha entrado hambre de tanto hacer turismo? Bélgica es famosa por sus gofres, chocolates, bombones y patatas fritas. Este país incluso afirma que fueron los inventores de las patatas fritas. Otro plato muy típico son los moules-frites, o sea, unos ricos mejillones con patatas fritas. Si está de visita en Amberes, le recomendamos que pruebe las handjes o «manos de Amberes», un dulce típico que se prepara en forma de galletas, cookies o chocolate con o sin relleno de mazapán en forma de mano. Después de una tarde intensa de compras por Amberes, seguro que le apetece reponer fuerzas fuera del hotel. En ese caso, puede ir a una cafetería acogedora, un bar o restaurante: será el broche de oro perfecto para acabar un día repleto de actividades interesantes. Esta ciudad es un verdadero paraíso para los más gourmets.
Su hotel en Amberes: la escapada perfecta
Amberes es una ciudad que siempre sorprende. Alberga una mezcla inigualable de tradición, cultura y mucha creatividad. Toda persona que pasa por la ciudad se da cuenta rápidamente de que no solo es un lugar para mirar, sino sobre todo para experimentar. Por otro lado, si no viene en coche, también puede venir en tren hasta la estación central de Amberes. El hotel está a unos 25 minutos a pie o, si quiere, puede coger el tranvía hasta la parada de Groenplaats. Si llega en avión, el aeropuerto está a unos 30 minutos en transporte público. Una vez en Amberes, llegará a nuestro hotel y podrá explorar la ciudad con calma.
